Q. Where will the events be held?
A. Most events will be held in nice indoor restaurants, wine bars and private clubs, normally in Central or Causeway Bay.
Q. Are there always equal numbers of gals & guys?
A. We go to very great lengths to ensure that we have an equal number of men and women at each of our events. We also set payment deadline for members to make advance payment so that we can be sure of the number of particpants well in advance. Nevertheless, not everyone lets us know if they can no longer make it, so from time to time there will be unequal numbers, despite our best efforts.
Q. Will I meet new people at each event?
A. While we can't guarantee ALL participants are new, our system can identify the number of people whom you had previously met. You can always check with us on the number of clashes, and you can then decide if you want to join that particular event or not.
Q. What's the dress code?
A. As you are going on a series of first dates, so please dress to impress! Girls are encouraged to wear light make up as it will enhance your features and brighten you up. Guys are encouraged to wear a stylish shirt, if a T-shirt isn't going to make you look your best, don't wear one.
Q. How soon will I receive my matching result?
A. In normal circumstances, matches are emailed to participants within 24 hours.
Q. How will my matches contact me?
A. We'll provide your matches with the email address and/or phone number you gave us for matches when you registered. You can select how you would like to be contacted.
Q. Who calls Who?
A. We encourage both parties to call or email each other. Remember, you already know the other person is interested in meeting you!
Q. What's the average match rate for an evening?
A. While each evening is unique and match rates vary, our average evening produces a match rate of 95%! Most people average around 3 matches per event.
Q. What if I need to cancel an event?
A. Please give us 48 hours advance notice to cancel an event, then your payment can be transferred to another event, otherwise, payment will be forfeited. All payment made are non-refundable.
Q. What if an event is cancelled due to weather or insufficient participants?
A. In case there are insufficient people joining an event, we will also give members at least 48 hours advance notice to postpone the event to some other time, or, members can choose to transfer their payment to another event.
If no. 8 or above typhoon signal is hosted, we will also cancel and postpone the event accordingly. We are sorry that no refund will be made.
Q. What if I still have more questions?
A. If more questions are still swirling around in your head, you may call Ada, the organiser, at 8208-5152, or, you can just take a deep breath, relax, go ahead and register for an event and leave the rest to us.
